Under normal circumstances I would say yellow is not my color and just walk as far away as possible from it, but when I laid my eyes on this gorgeous skirt with yellow lace quilted with black thread at Zara a while ago, I knew I had to own it. Normally, I almost never wear yellow, though I'll admit, I do have a few yellow pieces in my closet. However, I was completely obsessed with this stunner ever since I bought it and I was desperately waiting for the day I'd be able to wear it. That day had finally arrived when I made plans with my girlfriends for a night on the town, who have surprised me with the cutest little present for my birthday and showed how actually nice and caring they are. As silly as it may sound, it took a lot of courage for me to come out of my comfort zone and wear yellow, which I always thought didn't suit me at all. Now that I have worn it after such a long period of time, I definitely think I will do it again very soon. I paired this skirt with a black shirt with faux leather detailing on the collar and the sleeves, cut out boots which I have been wearing and loving a lot lately and a black bag which I have also been using the most. The quality of some photos is really poor, but only due to the bad lighting (which is quite logical, since it was night time).
